Dr. Averill received his Medical Degree from the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Harbor-UCLA and his cardiology fellowship at USC.
He is Board-Certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
He is currently President of the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
He has previously served as Chief of Staff at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and as a member of the Board of the Western States Affiliate of the American Heart Association.
